Day 351

I couldn’t think of anything to write today and that led me to the The original opening line of today’s poem (‘What else could there be left to say’). As the piece progressed, I decided to change the line and ended up with this.

Maybe Later
There’s so much that I need to say,
but I don’t want to overstay
my welcome here and I’m not sure
that I’m even welcome anymore.
So I think that I’ll just leave it there,
maybe someday we can clear the air
and make this all work out somehow,
but perhaps I should just go for now.
