Day 324

The inspiration for this one came from something that happened to me while having a dream a few nights ago. I suddenly realized that I was dreaming and, despite the fact that it wasn’t a nightmare, I suddenly began to panic and tried desperately to wake myself up. I stll don’t know what about it frightened me so much.

What am I doing here?
I don’t belong
and, if I stay, I know
that I won’t last long.
I can’t quite explain,
